My choice for the best digital camera for casual users is one with at least 2 Megapixels (I explain what those are in the buyer’s guide).
Most digital camera reviews will tell you that you need at least 3 Megapixels to take the best digital camera pictures but I've found 2 Megapixels work great if you know what to look for.
The pictures look good on your computer, when you print them at home on your printer and when you get them developed.
